Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Aqxle ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information about visitors to our website (aqxle.ai) and users of our services. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK Data Protection Act.

1. Who we are

Aqxle is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. For any privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact us at admin@aqxle.ai.

2. What data we collect

  • Information you provide — when you request a demo or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your name, work email, company, role, and any context you share.
  • Analytics data (with consent only) — pages visited, referrer, approximate location (country/region), device type, browser, and interaction events.
  • Session recordings & heatmaps (with consent only) — anonymized recordings of mouse movement, clicks, and scrolls via Microsoft Clarity. Sensitive input fields are masked.
  • Technical logs — IP address and request metadata collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

3. Why we collect it (legal bases)

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — analytics and session recordings only run after you click "Accept" on our cookie banner.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — security logs, and responding to direct inquiries you send us.
  • Contract / pre-contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — handling your demo requests and onboarding.

4. Cookies and third-party tools

We use the following tools, loaded only after you grant consent:

  • Google Analytics 4 — aggregated traffic and acquisition data. IP anonymization is enabled and Google Consent Mode v2 is in place. Google Privacy Policy.
  • Microsoft Clarity — heatmaps and session replays with automatic masking of sensitive fields. Microsoft Privacy Statement.
  • Strictly necessary cookies — used to remember your consent choice. These do not require consent.

5. Data sharing and transfers

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the processors listed above (Google, Microsoft) and our infrastructure providers, under Data Processing Agreements. Some providers process data outside the EEA; transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary safeguards.

6. How long we keep data

  • Analytics data: up to 14 months.
  • Session recordings: up to 3 months (Clarity default).
  • Demo / newsletter records: until you ask us to delete them.
  • Security logs: up to 12 months.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time (see below)
  • Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (e.g. the ICO in the UK, CNIL in France)

To exercise any of these rights, email admin@aqxle.ai. We respond within 30 days.

8. Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw cookie and analytics consent at any time. Clicking the button below clears your stored choice and reopens the consent banner so you can make a new selection. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection; it doesn't affect processing that already happened lawfully.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures (TLS encryption in transit, access controls, regular reviews) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we act promptly on any incident and will notify affected users where required by law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on this page with a new "last updated" date.
